Nope it indeed was not the answer you were looking for...but was a note that it is very common and because of this there are many members that have the same issue.

I am looking at getting a new rig and there are a couple things I need help with. Which is more important? Mileage, Age or Condition?
I have been looking for about 6 weeks for a new Chevy/GMC. Either a Tahoe/Yukon or Silverado/Sierra as new as possible, yet under $7k. I have come across...
Good find!
Every 99 I have seen has had the same issue with the driver's side seat heater. From what I hear the only way to fix it is to get a new seat. But, if you find a way to get it fixed, please let me know.
I have actually gone below E several times (stupid gas stations on 5 were too far apart) and still had some to spare; I think it took 28 gallons to fill.
As for it being too aggresive...all you need to go is get a larger muffler. This will also solve 2001Yuke's issue of being too loud.
As I mentioned, I have borla in my car and I got the largest that would fit under it (not much larger than stock). You can really hear it when there is back...

I am looking at getting a new vehicle later this week and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to look for or what issues they are prone to having? Any comments/suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks
Having the same issue...I want to either replace several guages in my cluster or swap it out. I have a spare one (same year/model) but the milage is over 200k, where mine is arround 186k.
It probably sounds like **** because your speakers are either blown or you are sending too much power to them. You might also have the base turned up a little to high for your internals.
I believe JL has a pretty cool shallow sub.
I am currently running one of these in my 2dr Yukon http://www.reaudio.com/specs.html#sp_xxx with two of these http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/prodInfo.asp?IDProduct=107 powering it at 1 Ohm. :cool2:
That amp would work, but I would suggest getting a 4 Ohm DVC (dual voice coil) sub so you can run it down to 2 Ohms. So the sub you are looking at would work, just get it in a 4 ohm dvc rather than a single 4 ohm.
As for you speaker grill, I would find one that covers as much of the sub as...
