well im gunna change the subject on this again.. does anyone know of any good black rims for my hoe.. obviously a 2wd 5x5 bolt pattern.. looking for 18's-22's.. any good brands to look for?? thanks or ill go for limited tahoe rims also

In last months issue of Truckin' magazine, they had pictures of like 85+ wheels and tire combos. It was cool to flip thru it. if you check your local dimestore, see if they have it.

haha i actaully cut that whole section out of my friends magazine without him knowing with a razor blade.. lol. yea maybe ill jsut go to ever website of all those rims and see what i can find, im not a big fan of buying rims brand new since they dont have a resale to em. IMO.. but thanks for your help..

I have some old 20's in the attic of my garage, but they are chrome.

I had a little accident with them when i first started working on my truck. ( one flew off while I was driving down the road, so that sucked)
anyway the mechanic said the one was ruined.??.. anyway I got new black ones from Boss Motorsports.
please dont get them, their chrome ring sucks. Im sure Ill make these black 20s my winter gear, and get some new 22s next spring. maybe.

My vote as well for leaving the pillars black. As for wheels I love the look of 18's on a 2wd. Just my opinion. And if you can find the limited rims.... paint them or Powder Coat them black.... that would be SWEET... IMO

my bud sold me the wheels. we installed them in his garage with some friends. so everyone was working on removing/reinstalling wheels.

2 days later, im just kickin it down the road and i hit a bump, felt some wobble, and then the drivers rear side went down and started to grind the backing plate. I looked out the window to see what was up, and my wheel/tire and some lugnuts went flying by, Matrix-style. I swear it was slo-mo. I watched the wheel/tire bounce down the sidewalk and hit this dudes fence. I pulled over, grabbed all the parts I could find. lug nuts, wheel, brake drum, some spring parts etc. got a flat bed tow and a ride from the coppers. and was back to work like, 1.5 hours later.

The mechanic says that whoever put on that wheel used the wrong lug nuts ( a cone shaped one instead of a flat one ( or something) and it backed itself off, and the rest followed.

So now I have 3 great 20s and one that needs repair by a machinist, i guess.

too bad no one here has a tahoe trike.

as you can still see there are tihngs that need to be put back one and painted. ( door handles, weatherstripping, ground effects, etc.. but thannks alot its coming out nicely
