Here we go... I guess I'm going to have to get some S2000 Projectors now and make my own bezels and shrouds, and do the first retro-fit write up for the yukon and tahoes. I've done it before and it's a lot of work, but damn... you can do it for way cheaper than $700. I can get s2k projectors for $200 and I was looking at the SRT8 300c shrouds that cover the projector are about the same size as the yukon and tahoe reflectors. Probably get it done for $300 and a few hours. I've wanted to do it for a while, but just been pressed on time.

I'd love to see how you do it. I'm getting pissed at this company. I've sent them two questions and received no responses. It doesn't excatly make me want to shell out $700+.

I'm most confused about the bezel and shroud part.

It doesn't look like Jeff's solution will be here too soon, either.

It's called retrofit. On the stock reflector you have to cut a square out in the back for the projector to fit through, drill holes to mount them, then epoxy the back. The shroud covers up that so it doesn't look all nasty. Here is a link to a shroud I found that is about 5.5" and should cover up the whole reflector of the stock GM headlights.

Here is a link to the same projectors they are using. Bar none the TSX, S2k and FX projectors are the best. They are made by stanely and have the best beam pattern. The sell Bi-Xenon system with it for $285, but I already have HIDs therefore I can buy just the projectors for $140. I'll have to buy new bulbs, but I get them free :)

And here is a link to what it looks like. I did this in my STI a few years back, that's how I found out about all this.

Thanks for the links. I may look in to this.

I wonder if there's a way to seperate the lens from the stock reflector. That may make a cleaner finish. I can't think of a way to make a clean cut, otherwise.

That'd be nice, but the reflector has to stay cause that's where the projector mounts.
