OK, I know it's here somewhere, but im tired of searching:crazy: ... Has anyone figured out which bulb is best to use in the fogs. BTW I have an 08 tahoe. Thanks.
Are you talking about the ABS light? You might have to reprogram the electronic brake control module (EBCM) to compensate for the larger diameter wheel/tire.
You might have stratched the wires & caused an open in the circuit.... Hopefully you know someone @ the dealership so they can warranty it for you. Yeah, I didn't reposition the sway bar like the instructions said to do. I just didn't see how doing that would make any sense, so I did my own...
Has anyone else gotten instructions for the rear on the 3/5 that says, "2000+ yukon/tahoe" instead of 07+? Also how would I tell if I got the wrong kit? IDK, maybe I just got the wrong instructions.:confused2:
Does anyone know if the corsa tip can be used on the GM perf. exhaust? Reason is because I can get the GM exhaust for cheap, but I really like the looks of the corsa tip.
I was going w/ this setup, but the guys @ street beat customs said that you will be running the risk of screwing up your fenders, tires etc. from being cut & damaged. They also said that w/ a 305/35/24 tire, the fender will ride on the tire. So I asked if I could just trim the fenderwell &...
Yeah, I have 24's but I'm just gonna program it for the 285/45 22 tires, since that is the biggest size GM offers for programming that stuff. Just wondering, what kinds of aftermarket programmers are there & how much do they run for? I'm just doing it this way because it won't cost me anything...
Have any of you needed to reprogram your ECU & ABS module when you put your 24"+ wheels on. I know the tire monitors can be programmed easily, but this is something else. I read it on a service bulletin in the GM service info at work today. Also it IS true that GM cannot program the ECU, ABS...
Thanks for the advise man... I'm currently trying to see if the dealership can repaint one of my doors because there is some rubbish under the factory paint. Then I'll ask if they can paint the bowties w/ the leftover paint. I think they'll do it if I were to take the emblems off for them.
By behind the bowtie, do you mean behind the chrome, or the "gold"? Does the chrome border separate from the gold, or do you have to mask it off before you paint it? BTW, both of your bowties look great... good job!
