I am so frustrated...I bought my hoe' three months ago for $2500 (knowing that it had the need for a new tranny and new power steering pump). I had those things done ($1700), but since then it's been in the shop on and off almost every week...front end including shocks all the way around ($2000), Brakes redone ($1200), some sensor replaced because it kept on stalling ($250), a shorted wire in the steering column ($350), New battery cables and other wiring ($500), etc. The kelley blue book says it's worth $2000 even with the 3" body lift and 35"
BIG FOOT tires. It's a cool truck but is becoming a money pit that I just can't afford.

I am having some problems with my air conditioning. On the front controlls i can turn the AC on and it will work fine for about a minute. Then the drivers side turns to heat even though the air conditioning is still on. While this happens on the drivers side, the passenger side will still be blowing cold air. Any ideas on what causing this?
Help! My instrument panel cluster will not display the odometer, transmission position,or the driver information. Anybody know what to do about this,I am at a loss.
Hello Ned....I requested a build sheet 2 weeks ago and didn't know if I missed it and went to my "junk". Apologize in advance if I am maybe being too impatient? Tried to get one of these from the dealer years ago and got that look like someone had just farted.

Hello! I have stiff steering in my 2003 Tahoe. If youre turning and let go of steering wheel it jerks back and feels as if its fighting me when driving, so to speak. Front end checked out good on inspection. Anyone else familiar with this to offer any advice? Im no mechanic but if its not in front end it would assumably be in the steering, correct? Steering box or????? Help please if you can.. Ive got 175k on my ride(many commuting miles) and have been buried past year and half in transmission, multiple sensors, alternator, ujoints, another set of hubs front wheels, power window motors, belts, brake calipers, rotors, shoes, etc.....I luv my Tahoe but tired lately of digging deep to keep it running and my GM bashing friends are having a field day with me:( need assistance determining steering prob soon!! Thku in advance!

I'm new to this forum stuff but I have a general Tahoe question. I'm shopping for a 2012 Tahoe LTZ and I'm trying to decide between a 4WD or a 2WD. I will be towing a 23 ft Airstream and my concern is getting stuck. I know the 2012 Tahoe is rated for 8500 lbs or 8300 lbs for the 4WD. The trailer fully loaded is 6000 lbs so just wanted to know which vehicle I would be better off with. Please advise
