Rear seats !

I would like to hear if anyone here has ever removed the rear seats (2nd row) in a '96 Tahoe to "convert" it into a workvan like van ?
If so please let me know how it went

I have never done it with a Tahoe, but I did it to a 94 Suburban that I had. Went fairly smooth. I filled in the bolt holes with rubber grommets and then just laid the carpet back down over it.

so basically it's "just" bolt-off kinda job ??
any specific things to look out for ?

Yeah they came out pretty easy. The threads are built into the body so there arent any nuts for the bolts. Unbolt the seats and they come right out. Id recommend using an angled impact wrench though, the bolts are in there pretty good.
