I am tossing around the idea of putting in black projectors on my Hoe, does anyone have any pics of the blacks or the silvers on a green Tahoe? Just getting started in the upgrade department, I figure the look will be debadged, green with black teflon wheels and BFG A/Ts with a full roof rack and blacked out windows.

Not a green 'hoe, but I posted mine to give you an idea. I don't have a decent pic of the projectors, so I posted a few so you can see it from different perspectives.

Anyone know the difference between the different projector lights. Some brands sell them for 200-300 like this site

http://www.mytightride.com/chsisu19prhe.html

and some sell projectors for around 400. Is there really a main difference or is it just a matter of who's selling what for cheaper? I want to put projectors on my ride, but I'm unsure who I wan to purchase from.

Do you mind me asking where you purchased your projectors from JKmotorsports?

Probably difference in design and quality. If the reflective portion of the housing is designed poorly, the light output and beam pattern will be poor.
Some have extras like halos (angel eyes) and accent LEDs. Also depends on what is used to light the halos (i.e. CCL, LED, etc.)
I actually got my JDM projectors off ebay because it was the only ones I found that I liked. I've had my HIDs in them for a while and the light output, beam pattern, beam cutoff, etc is great.

I'm also looking at this setup. Is there any difference between the units that have what looks like a chrome reflective housing and black housing for the high beam? I notice that you have the chrome looking one JK.

THanks

Look nice JK. Who was your source. I am also looking at projectors.
I don't remember the name of the company. I'll see if I can find the receipt somewhere and I'll let you know.

The reflective housing will much better light output and more focused beam than the all black housings.

Wow, thanks for the shots, looks awesome. I am still digging up sources for full roof baskets, Mule looks like a nice option. I am making it a basic, north Idaho stealth rig, worthy of the woods and logging trails, but still a little attitude. Going to dual off the exhaust next week, put some cush shocks on and get started on shopping for the accessories. Thanks for the pics and advice, love this forum.
