NOT HAPPY

Today was not a happy day.. a lady with no insurance back into my hoe... at work.. not sure what to do... she is willing to pay some how but does not have the money right now.. i have post a claim with my insurance and I have given them her info but their is no police report due that it happen under private property sooo ... what should i do...? let her pay my deductible of $500 and still let my insurance deal with her..? pay all the repairs my self and let her pay me when she gets some money.. or what..? I dont want to get hit with the deductible or the full amount to get it fix.. and at the same time dont want to deal with this lady by having to track her by collecting payments ahh cause she wants to pay in payments.. :hlp:

Don't whatever you do let her pay and not turn in to your insurance unless she can give you cash up front. I made that mistake and the guy left town after paying about half.

If shes not paying in full immediately then have insurance deal with her, if somebody backed into me and put that much damage on my Tahoe and then told me they don't have insurance, I can't even say what'd I'd do to them!

If she can't even make monthly payments for insurance, she won't make monthly payments to you. Go through insurance, let them send her to collections.

yea man, let insurance find her and make her pay, when they do that, they send you the check and you get your truck fixed, and then they bug her for the money, insurance can stand to loose a couple thousand, but thats a huge corperation, lot better for them to get cheated out than you.

I am assuming you have un-insured/under-insured coverage.......put in the claim and let the insurance company deal with it. I was rear-ended in my GS430 by a douche that had no insurance. Your insurance company will get the process going and go after her. Don't trust anyone....even if she is cute.

Sorry but if you sympathize with her problems or are swayed by her beauty then you're gonna lose out here big time. And she's gonna keep going around breaking the law and using her ways to get out of it. Unless you both fell in love at first sight, there is no reason to let her get away with it. Either you give her up to the system, or you give up your cash to her benefit, and you will find that either way you're not dating her when all is said and done. In fact, you're the last guy she wants to see right now. So you should use your head here and don't be weak. Don't mean to put you down, just don't want to see you get burned for not being realistic. She'll never pay you off in full if you give her the option.

UPDATE

So the lady did not show up to work today... she works for a temporal agency... i took the truck to the shop and the bill will be somewhere around $1300. Been that she did not even call today I will go with my insurence and let them deal with her... It still sucks that i have to pull $500 out of my pocket..

I also learn that a few days ago she had court on another accident where she had where she settle to pay around $20 x month to the owner of the other vehicle..cause that was all she could afford to pay... that sucks! I have fill out a blue letter that the police gave me and will send it out to make sure this goes on her record..
