Magnets on drainplugs maybe, haven't heard of any other use but I'm not sure I want to.

Just think what a Fitch fuel catalyst would do.
I've sold a few of those and told the people that I had no evidence to support any improvement. Curious to see what it may actually do on our trucks but I'm certainly not going to try it myself.

$250 deposit for tune + 100 deposit for the pcm core and $200 total for the tune =$550 initial investment. I'm sending him the cable and my stock pcm back tomorrow and I'll be credited the $350, plus I have to pay for shipping them back but thats negligible. Don't waste your money on a programmer, if you have a laptop there is no excuse. BTW I'm getting a hair over 15mpg driving like a lunatic, even clipped 120 on accident during a...err...run on a private track the other day :leaving:

I don't have z rated tires so I'm not willing to try. Common sense does not permit me to attempt such a feat unless I was on a closed track. I'm sure I could click past 140 but it would get pretty sketchy even with the drop, these things aren't very streamlined.

Get some aluminum panels for underneath and a huge Carbon Fiber spoiler, not only will it look sweet BUT you will gain like 150 HP :).

Took the first long trip with the truck yesterday (120+mi). Truck made great power with the ac on full blast. With the cruise set it would drop to 3rd once and awhile but the shift was smooth and I only noticed because of the exhaust. There is way less shock through the drivetrain, shifts are quick but very gentle even at higher throttle values. I was averaging 16mpg at 85-90mph with the ac cranked. Mileage went up quite a bit on the drive home with the dic saying 19mpg at 65 with the ac low (not sure the computer is 100% accurate but it was sipping the fuel and the temp outside dropped to about 80). I've had a few slight issues with the pcm in the truck but nothing major. Justin was quick to assure me a new pcm would be sent and he's even tuning my stock pcm and deleting my egr once he gets my core back this week. I'm thoroughly impressed with the tuning, every aspect of driving the truck is better I just wish it made more power because I'm already used to sideways fun when the pavement is wet :D Oh and I pulled plugs and the fuel mixture looks to be dead on. Anyone on the fence needs to get a blackbear tune Justin is a fvcking pimp when it comes to tuning these trucks.

I am sitting on the fence also. I have talked to justin through e-mail a bit but still am a little wearry(spelling) because of the 115000 on the truck. The trucks main use is for towing a 24 foot travel trailer and my wife driving it from home to work(about 5 min each way) Will it benefit me to get the custom tune. need a little input form the people that have it especially the people with the high mileage hoes

I'm almost at 90k, don't worry about reliability his tune is better than stock which would make the truck run longer if anything. I'm guessing I'll have some form of forced induction by 100k and have every intention of driving this thing another 100.

Bad@ss man. Sounds like you are really stoked about the new tune. I've been meaning to get one also, but just have so many projects going on, it's hard to get everything I want in the order I want.

I had an issue with the pcm Justin sent me and he was quick to tune my core and ship it out. My stock pcm went out last friday, he received the pcm wednesday and I had it back on friday. Tune has no issues and I can't believe this is the same truck. I played around with a new body scsb vortecmax the other night and the denali caught it easily. I have to be careful because it gets up to 90 so easily, thanks again dude my truck finally feels like a 6.0.
