Just purchased a 1999 Tahoe ls. Not sure what I got myself into but hopefully everyone here will be helpful with any problems that may arise.

Welcome! I have been on here a while, but haven't been posting a whole lot. These trucks are awesome in the fact that they will run forever, and that you can still work on them when they don't! Actually I traded a 99 silverado straight across for it. It 199xxx miles on it but was an excellent truck. The Tahoe has 221xxx on it. I think he got the better end of the deal but I'm ok with that I wanted a tahoe. Besides I like to tinker so what the heck.

Was the silverado a classic or the new style for the year? Extended cab?

New style, extended cab, 3 door. I was the second owner of it had it since it had 86xxx on it so I know it was taken care of.

Bet that was hard to do.... dont think I could have done it, but you will enjoy that tahoe....
