Hello America :)

Iam the new guy from sweden here. Find the forum threw google, have a couple of questions, hope it´s okey.

I have for the first time bought a Tahoe LT Autoride 2001 and iam so happy.
Always wanted to own a big american SUV. So now i have 2 Chevrolet with v8 :)
One racecar, Chevelle Malibu 66. And my daily driver tahoe.

The car is lifted 3" (inch) and the summer wheels are 22" chrome ugly ass rimz.
I was wondering if i can have for example 15 or 16 inch rim with 35" mickey thompson baja wheel with a 3" lift? That was just an example, my idea is to make it look a little bit offroad. Does it fit on a 3" lifted tahoe or i have to lift it more?
Maybe someone know the exactly max wheel size and so on with a 3" lift?

Asked this questions on a Swedish forum but they dont understand more than me :secret:

Best regards Kenth / SWE

Sorry just see that i post in 2007+ Tahoe section. Move it if you want.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

The answer is yes, if you lift the vehicle 3 inches then you can fit 35's on it. But you will have to stay with a rim size that is 16 inch or larger since it came with 16 inch rims from the factory. If you try to use 15 inch rims, you will have clearance issues with the brake caliper.

Thank you so much :)
Good information, now a visit on summitracing. 35" offroad tyres are very expensive in in sweden. Think i go for 35.x12x16. Do you Think width 12 w Will fit or Should i go smaller?

One more thing clkelley :).. want a good allround tire. Driving most in the city but sometimes i go a little bit offroad. What will fit my driving style best? I looking on a http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-5866/?rtype=10. I want my tyre to look like that (offroad) but i dont need to be that tire. And it has to be good on the street to. So can you recomend a good all allround tire that is half street half offroad and look so much offroad as possible? Sorry for bothering you with this Swedish dumb ass question :) hahaha
