Greetings,
I have an 08 Chevy Tahoe LTZ & have recently installed the Gen IV Lockpick from Coastal Tech. Ever since the installation, the GPS position report & internal nav unit compass are not working right. Generally speaking, I notice about a 90 degree discrepancy in compass readings between the internal unit compass & the standby compass in the mirror. Furthermore, there is a large time interval between GPS position updates rendering the NAV useless. The system seems to update every ten miles or so, and is unable to detect direction or vehicle movement. This causes the position triangle to remain stationary on a map location. When I installed the Lockpick pad, I was able to tuck the device underneath the climate control panel in the dash stack. I am beginning to wonder if something inside the Lockpick is causing interference with the Nav system? The system was running beautifully before the install. If anyone is familiar with the system & able to lend a hand I would be greatly appreciative.
Thank you,
Ryan
