Thats because the chimes sounds thru the driver door speaker so chances are when the aftermarket stereo was installed it was canceled out

Well for the most part its designed to do that because and when the headlamps switch is used it most likely to be done when theres less light out so you don't need the same amount of illumination at night as you would during the day

Well not sure what your referring to as far as the marker lamps... are they the clear or amber ones.. you do have what are called DRLs Day Time Running lights those are the clear ones that are below the head lamps and the amber ones that are more towards the front conner of the vehicle...

Well something is wrong there the DRLs should only be on during the day not at night or when the head lamps are on.. let me see if I can find some info on that for you in the mean time what you can do is remove the bulb from the socket that isn't working and look into the socket where the bulb goes you will see the electrical terminals get a thin pick or screw driver and tighen them by bringing them closer together so that they make better contact with the bulb terminals

At this point by looking at schematics my guess is going to be the installation of the aftermarket alarm something in the way it was hooked up is causing the DRLs and headlights to come on at the same time

I just drove and tested the tow/haul button. The trucl drives weird. First gear the truck jerks when it switches. And second doesn't even switch. But when I drive regular. I have no problems everything is smooth
