Intake survey

New guy here....I'm curious, how many have replaced the intake gaskets? Would be great if everyone responded with a "yes I did replace" or "no I didn't"

Yup, and I do on all GM V engines between 96-2003 that I get ASAP...

I haven't, but it has been replaced by a mechanic during the previous owner IIRC (would have to go over the repairs to check, I have the full history which is nice)

Intake leak

This there a way to tell if it's already been done?my 99 5.7 is not leaking but I'd hate to be somewhere and have it start. Thanks

I replaced mine several months ago. It took me two hours to get it done.
