hey whats up im a newb on the site, and my first question i have for ya is i have a 96 yukon with 24's (i purchased them used a while back) and the tires they brung are 305/35/24 and the problem im having is that i want to drop the truck a couple of inches but i dont even know what shocks, struts and leaf springs to go with and even if i did as it is right now the rims tend to rub in the front since the wheels stick out more then they do in the rear, so would anyone know what i have to do in order to be able to get the proper clearance to be able to drop it more, with hopefully minimal to no rubbing?

Decrank the front torsion bars a few turns and buy a 2" shackle for the back. Depending on the offset you may be able to go lower in front but I'd take it to an alignment shop so they can play around with the torsion bar height until it sits the lowest without rubbage.

I used the belltech 3/2 drop on the Denali, and with the belltech torsion keys, it dropped TOO far and was rubbing over bumps, etc. You can get quite a bit of lift/drop from the stock torsion keys. anyway, with the leaf spring in the back, a drop shackel will do the trick.
also, maybe think of shocks while your in there. it will help with the ride after you lower it.
also, wait for JKMotorsports' reply. he is the master of offset and huge wheels.

I'm gonna say you are going to rub at some point. Your rubbing rolling stock, so lowered your still going to rub, probably worse than before. Beauty is pain.
