232K on my 2001 Yukon SLT. Just bough it a few months ago, it's in very good condition inside and out, and seems to be running great, too. It's not perfect, but it sure does drive/run good when it's paid for!

Wow, thats gotta be close to a high mileage winner for the forums! Does anyone know who has the most miles on a 2nd gen?

My '06 Z71 has only 25K, but with gas prices, we are using it only for trips and other occassions when the whole family will be in it for more than just around town.

It hasn't been in the shop yet, but lately I have felt something mysterious in the steering - hard to describe the sensation, but it just doesn't feel right. Any ideas?

Since I'm approaching the end of my warranty period, any suggestions on getting it thouroghly inspected by an independant mechanic and/or buying an extended warranty from Warranty Direct or similar?:patriot:

I worked on a truck a few weeks ago that was just under 250K. Had its fair share of dings and bruises, but ran like a champ.

I have 103K on mine and haven't had any problems yet. Everything is running as strong and smooth as it did the day I bought it. Only problem was the amplifier circuit for the ABS motor.

cognito pitman/idler arm reinforcements

You will have to replace the steering but I have a few customers with over 100k on their trucks and no issue. I'm at 85k with no play in any of the steering, plan on building some sleeved tie rods and installing the cognito pitman/idler arm reinforcements.

Does Cognito have a website, or do you have some contact info. for them?

Would like to look into doing this.

Regards -

I've got 47k on my '05 Denali- bought it w/about 28k mi and at 30- water pump died- thankfully it was still under warranty. GM should design better water pumps- I replaced one on my SAAB, Vette, and Yukon all around 30K mi (and I don't race and produce elevated engine temps) But I love GM v8s. No other issues w/my Yukon. If I keep it, I'm hoping for 150K mi.
