Hey all,

Great forum and I have been looking, searching and lurking for a week or so now. Looking at a 07 Tahoe LT3 on a local dealers lot. The rig has 159000 miles on it right now. I took it home last night and brought it into our shop and looked it over really well. It is very clean, inside and out. All the electronics seem to work with exception the information sensor has a problem with the rear parking sensor. (it also has backup camera), and the tire pressure monitoring system.

It needs a new set of tires, it drives well, has good braking, no pulse so rotors feel good. Power is there, acceleration is great.

I am looking at this to tow my 21' jet boat when needed and to throw camping stuff in when we hit the road. It will also be a daily driver for me for the next 2-3 years.

I am fine with everything a feel good about the car, just apprehensive about the miles. I know there are no guarantees in things but what do you folks more knowledgeable on Chevys think?

The price is $16,800.

Thanks very much

The price is right on the money with KBB - whatever KBB pricing is worth.
I have over 150k on my Ford Explorer and the car runs great. 159k on an 07 means it was highway driven and if it feels and sounds good, you can easily clock another 100k. Be ready for a routine staff; brakes, bearings, accessories, etc. Otherwise, I'd buy it as well.

Thanks,

I missed this one. I waited a day and they sent it to the auction. Looking at a 2008 with 70000 miles.

Thanks
