Hey everyone im a newbie here..i have a black 99 tahoe ls.....red interior....373 gears...tow package....hi flow thunderbolt cats....etc....when i come to a stop..i hear a clunk...like some one tapped my in the back...when i leave a from a complete stop i hear it and feel it again....some one told me to grease my spline gear, but there is no grease nipple for it....any one else have this problem.....

check all your suspension bolts that they are tight i nthe back.. i remember seeing it on here, someone said to replace the rear yoke with a nickle one.. that should fix it, but use to your own discretion..

your going to have to remove the driveshaft to grease the splines also use a graphite type grease otherwise you'll be doing this again next month

Check the obvious first, like the leaf springs end bushings and the U-joints in the driveshaft. If you see rust powder in the spring bushings or the U-joint end caps, well it's time to change them.
