Hello :happy160: I just bought my first Tahoe last week. It is a 97 LT with the 5.7. So far I love it it has 70k on rebuilt engine and tranny and 273k on the body. I had to put new ball joints/brakes and Rotors/Alignment/Tire Balance to her but now she is running great 
. Its a little beat up but everything (except AC) works, even the electric windows and compass lol. I am going to do very few mods to it since I have a 300zx that I am currently working on. It already has a custom exhaust on it I am thinking I may do a K&N intake, a small lift, install a wench and grill guard and maybe some rack lights on top. I look forward to picking your brains since this is the first 4x4 I have ever owned. Before this it has been nothing but RWD cars. Cheers! :happy160:
