I have a 1999 Tahoe 2 door, 2 wheel drive. I am in the process of customizing it. So far I have installed air bag suspension and have managed to get it pretty low. However, after taking off the rear bumper and trailer hitch to install a roll pan, I notice that the gas tank hangs down 6 to 8 inches below the body and frame.
Has anyone installed a smaller gas tank in these cars or can the existing tank be modified so that it doesn't hang down so much?

This is the 07+ section, you'll have better luck in the 99 section. You can move your thread with the Thread tools menu just above your post.

sure, go to the upper left, to the User CP inside there, theres a menu on the left, where you can edit your avatar ( and on the bottom of that screen, you can add your photo) and also how to edit your signature ( also whith a photo-loading section)
hope that helps. If you donate to the site , you can get bigger photos and perks. you can view the membership perks under the subscriptions tab.
