have someone else drive you to the doctorthen ...and dont say "boost" or "AFM" or any of the other trigger words.. It would probably be best if you didnt even go there in a car. you should walk.

haha well im in Ohio, so if any dents or any mishaps happen, "Im Over here" ahhahaa, my brother and I are going to be opening up a bigger shop then what we have right now. We just have like a 2000square foot place and will be upgrading to like a 20000 squarefoot place.. Our new place will be 1 building but with 4 or 5 smaller buildings in it. IE, Paint, Motor work, Detailing, Interior, and our own towing company. All have the same name so it draws in customers. Say someone wrecks their car down the road, our towtruck picks it up and brings it on down.. so we have about 5 places all making money on one car...... Ill have to one day, put up a thread with before and after pics of our customers cars..

Sounds good. That will be a great business for the up coming recession. There will always be cars being wrecked.

Do you guys have to do a lot of screwing around for the polution control people with the various paint products?

I think hobbiest painting in the driveway (or garage.. garage with floor drain) is fine. but yeah EPA can get tricky. my cube is right next to the Enviornmental Health and Safety guys cube, and hes on the phone with the EPA all the time. They're cool and everything, but your stuff needs to be up to snuff. all details must be in order.
Sas your shop sounds great.
I say in 2010 we organize a "drive to Sas's shop and stand there" it would be a good business op for him and a good drivearound for everyone else.
Just throwin that out there.

Del, I just got a copy of Chevy High Performance magazine, and on pages 3 and 4 there is a full color ad for this place called Chris Alston's Chassisworks.
Im not sure if it helps you, but maybe worth a quick look online.

the ad has a website, www.cachassisworks.com

I would say you should probably go with something custom. Definitely a four link but why airbags? I would think something like some sort of drag coil over would be better suited for your application. I'm not too knowledgeable on the drag scene but i do know alot about the off road scene, 99.9% of the time with any sort of custom application you just cant get the same performance from a out of the box kit.

Thanks for the input, guys. It is looking like it will be custom from what I have found so far.

I like air suspension for performance and less "unsprung" weight. It can also adapt quickly to load changes like hooking up to the trailer.

I guess I have a few months to figure it out now, during the winter.
