Just got my 01 tahoe about two weeks ago its got 140,000 miles. Had an EGR valve code come up but havent replaced it yet 120.00 bucks damm it. it was running and pulling fine. But now when i put it under a load it runs rough and wont get over 60 mph going up a hill. Flat road its fine as long as i dont stomp on it. Any ideas on this. I should also tell you that the EGR code wasnot flashing. I cleared the code. Now the light flashes going up hill with the light flashing. Get over the hill with no strain the engine smothes out and the light goes away.
