Honestly, can't you get these bezels off ebay for like $150??

take a look...

not many people realize what they get in to trying to do this by the looks of the responses..

BTW JK your install looks really good i like it a lot, really considered the pioneer but this was a deal too good to pass up for me on the JVC

take a look at what?? realize what?? You said the bezel would cost atleast $400.00, I'm just saying that I found some on ebay for $150.00.

I still give you props on your DIY! but I know for a fact that the local shop I go to, goes the '03+ bezel route.

But hey, either way good luck on your project and post some pics when you're finished.

I've seen the bezels cheaper on ebay like tann808 mentioned. Some shops like to install the 03-up bezels and some just mod the existing ones. Just depends on where you go and if the shop you find has someone and the means of refinishing the existing one or not. I don't feel one way is better than the other, just depends on the circumstances, such as total cost and the ability of the installer.

They really do look like that. No disrespect to those of you who have it, but I'm not too fond of the factory nav systems in this body style truck. And they are all LCD. CRTs take up too much space and aren't as safe in a vehicle; too impractical.

Someone chime in if I'm wrong, but I think it was 05(?) that they changed it over to the newer style like yours, RT.
