I have a D-3 and I installed it, one question for you:
How did you get the system to dim automatically? I'm sure I missed this step during the install.

There is an orange/white wire on the D3 harness that needs to connect to the vehicle's illumination wire. This wire should be orange as well on your aftermarket harness.

Huck, besides the wire hook up. I had to enable the function in my radio. it had two choices. the lights or the GPS. I went with the lights, but the manu. setting was OFF.
