And would you look at that, now someone go out and buy the damn things... I hate drums. The other day i replaced the brake cylinder and today the stupid thing like over expanded it self and blew up. thanks for the dot3 all over my rims, brand new shoes, drum and all in my garage. damn drums.... all they do is give me problems after problems and changing those damn brakes are a pain in my a$s.

Sorry i'm not very helpful on the link provided however it seems to be missing a new proportioning valve. Also, I've read somewhere that you can get brackets that will allow you to use D60 front calipers and rotors. All you'd need to do is purchase a K-sport mechanical lock hydraulic e-brake assy. I'm swapping 13" C6 Z06 front brakes f&r in one of my projects and am using said e-brake to be "legal". I know a few guys who have em and say they work well.

no links to the brackets off the top of my head. I've read it in one of my off road mags and I know of someone who has done this swap on his burb. I'll see if i can get in touch with him to see where he got his stuff. As far as the mechanical hydraulic e-brake is concerned, its a mechanical ratchet lever attached to a pushrod. Acts like your brake pedal. It comes with either a 5/8" or 3/4" slave cylinder. They are used by rally cars that are aggressive with the e-brake. The nice thing about this is that the car is still street legal because the e-brake is still a "mechanical" means of locking the rear brakes unlike line-locks that bleed off over time.

I want to upgrade to 1 ton brakes all 'round including the hydro boost. I will be using the above e-brake system. I like that the handle can be mounted in either push or pull! it will go in the stock location.

See what happens. I would imagine like all my plans, something will happen to the vehicle before i get around to it!!
