I dont know, personally, if I was getting a new Tahoe, I would not get one loaded. Power running boards, power liftgate, power fold seats, power power power.....its all wonderful until something breaks, and on something with that much power crap, its bound to break at some point. If I could get an LT1 or LT2 with the 6.2 liter engine, then that would be something worth thinkin about, otherwise forget it. Oh MAAAN, I would like to see someone try to drop the 8.1 liter big block into one of the tahoes with the 6 speed tranny. That would be amazing. On another consideration on that Suburban.....I bet that thing gets gallons per mile not miles per gallon.

The 6.2 makes better power then the 8.1 but I'm not too enthused about the variable valve timing if you plan to mod the truck. I almost traded my truck on an 08 6.0 avalanche but figured I'd wait until they come with the 6 speed, even with 0% thats still a hell of a payment for a kid trying to make it through college.

i was looking at the 08 hybrid ..had it home for a weekend it was nice ... it was actually pretty good on gas and quiet ....but i'l stay with my 04 these days it's almost not worth having a bank note. :)
