HP isn't the only factor in acceleration. Different engines can have different torque curves which can effect acceleration. Also, were the tests done with the same size tire? That alone could produce a huge difference.

Thanks for your quick responds. Hmmmm never thought about the tires. Both seem to run on 20s, great question though. Well the fact that these vehicles do run in the 6s. I guess tires, size, as you mention torque curve could be a factor.
