How do you think a 305/75/16 would fit? Now that I think about it, I really don't want to buy a body lift in order to run 315's. I want the widest tire I can fit under there without major issues.

I think you could run it without any major issues. Next time i have to get tires i am thinking that is the size that i am going to go with

How big of a tire could I buy using a 17" rim? I have some 08 Tahoe 17s I'd like to use, but I'm unsure of the maximum sidewall height I can use...

Is it possible to use 305/70/17 33x12 with out rubbing at stock height?

EDIT: 305 is wider than I'd like to go, if at all possible I'd like to keep the width at 275.
