Bad TPS ??

Attempt the relearn procedure first. If the vehicle still doesn't recgonize the sensor then most likely it is defective. Cause can range from debris/salt/rain causing corrossion on the device. Pretty inexpensive replacement.

I'm assuming your truck is a 07+ model. Ebay has them listed for one sensor at 24.95. There are some that are a bit higher 40 - 50, so whatever you feel comfortable with. Call around to some tire shops for pricing on installation. The shop near me only charges 50 bucks/tire to remove/balance. So all in all expect paying 80 - 90 frog skins.

Try getting a quote from the dealership too. They have high costs, but sometimes they have better prices on little jobs like this.
