I know my '02 TrailBlazer had it. Thought it sucked then, still do.

So then your Corvette does have torque mgmt, right?

The jury is still out on The corvette forum. I didnt think I had it, but now I remember getting a Wait4Me tune for it and they took it away. It only cut about .2 off the 0.60 according to the corvette forum. But I think the manual tranny can take more punishment than the 6 speed auto.

A lot of the power restriction comes from torque management and the many other nannies that GM puts on their vehicles nowadays. A custom tune will definitely unleash the power that the 6.2L really has. My '08 Denali was quick when it was stock, but after the custom tune it was a completely different animal. I have a 5.64 0-60 timeslip to prove it.

And you all are right about the exhaust... the 6.2 sounds very good as is. I put the Corsa Sport on it and it sounds so good I have a hard time turning the engine off.

I both have a 5.3 Suburban and a XL Denali. Of course you feel the difference. Like computers the new one is not fast unless you notice how slow the old one is. The Denali is not overpowered but significantly quicker than the 5.3.

I once did the 0-60 for both. About 10 sec for the Suburban and 7-8 for the Denali.

On the other hand both are dwarfed by my 6.0 F-250 w chip. No 0-60 time as the wheels spin around with all the power. With 4x4 turned on its about 6-7 seconds.
