thats why i would put them next to the stock fog lights.

thanks for your help.

also when they were on. did you switch between fog and driving, or were both bulbs on, on both lights?

I would use the main lights and the fogs would pickup where the lights left off

ok, i worded that question wrong.

there are two bulbs in each houseing on the aftermarket ones. when you turn them on do they both turn on or does one bulb in each housing turn on and you alternate between the two.

according to JCwhitney. in each light, one bulb is a pencil beam, and the other bulb is a fog beam.

i wanna get the ones i had linked in the origional post as they look like they will fit with my stock ones nicly. (mine are square, not round like yours)

i also wanna add about 8 of these sometime in my trucks life. http://www.dirtlights.com/index.php?id=540 i would get the 35W slim ballest HID ones.

4 pencil beam and 4 fog.

2 pencil and 2 fog on a light bar on the rooof.

and 2 fog and 2 pencil beam on a grill guard.

then add 6 of the JC whitneys next to the fogs.

and mod it so they all stay on, like i did with my fogs and highs. gunna be sweet
