ok I got a 95 4wd tahoe 5.7 litre tbi, i recently replaced the trans and tcase in it, ran perfect before doing this, now that i got it all back together its desided to not run? it cranks over but no fire first thing i checked was fuel pump it works however my injectors are not spraying, sicne i put the trans in i did get it to run twice (not sure how) it ran the first time then just shut off, the second time i drove it like 5 miles with no problems, i shut it off went out to start it 10 minutes later and there she now sits not starting again, i have replaced fuel filter, fuel pump relay, battery, controll module in the distributor, map sensor, cap, rotor, checked for loose grounds, checked fuses and now im wondering if my ecu is the problem? what do you think it could be i thought for sure it was a ground strap not hooked up that might have been hitting and grounding out every once in a while but i cant find any loose ones, im lost what can it be?

Thanks

Check the connection to the oil pressure sending unit. It's behind the intake manifold on the top of the engine block.

Also be sure that wire did not get pinched or damaged when wrestling with the trans.

I think that model kills the fuel pump if it does not see oil pressure. It's a long shot, but it's in the danger zone for getting whacked.
