2008 Yukon center console

Is there a different console available for 2008 Yukon SLT? I just got the Yukon and it has a wide middle console compared to my 2003 Denali. My butt needs more room. Thanks

My sentiments exactly. As far as a 2008 the only other console I've seen is the second row bucket seat console that is made by GM. But maybe find out if anybody has actually installed the smaller console from the previous years (i.e. 2001-2007). My guess is that it would probably fit only problem is that you would have no armrests for the driver or passenger seats since the current console has those.

There are 2 consoles, the center console and the jump seat. I had the jump seat and swapped it out for the console. If you search on ebay for 2007 tahoe jump seat (seats are the same as the yukon), you can find a replacement. This should give you some additional hip room. Unfortunately this doesn't change the seatbelt location, so it might not do you much good. You also lose the storage in the console unless you get one of the new jump seats. Looks like there is a black jump seat on ebay right now. I'm sure you could get it upholstered to match yours. Alternatively you could order the seat from the dealer.

I have one from when I converted my ls front seat to a console. If you want it let me know and you could have it cheap.
