2007 Tahoe 4 wd low

Hi, new to this forum and have an issue you might help me with.
I have a 2007 Tahoe, 5.3, 57,231 miles, garage kept, and all maintenance up to date. I used my 4wd (high)today, snow, and when I got home I decide to just check auto and 4wd low. Auto worked fine but when I selected 4wd low, the light flashed for approx. 1 minute then but never shifted, the light went out, the auto light stayed on during the whole process even though the selection know was set to 4wd low. All the other setting work fine, only 4wd low isn't. Any ideas would be appreciated

try putting it in neutral while shifting it can shift to 4 high on the fly but not low

Yea, thanks for the reply, I had forgotten you need to be in N to shift the darn thing, I never use 4wd low, thanks again for the reply.
