My rear A/C in my 2002 yukon is not working at all. No fan or anything. I accessed the rear blower and checked the resistor block's voltage when the fan switch was on. Got good voltage coming out the resistor. I then unscrewed the motor and turned the swtich on. When I turned the motor manually, the motor cut on. After screwing the motor back in, it stopped working again. After hitting the back of the motor, it started again. Does it sound like i need to get a new blower motor?

Had trouble with my 2001 Tahoe rear blower motor. Went to the dealer to get a new motor and he told me they have never replaced a faulty one. He had me check the connector on the motor and I found when I wiggled it the motor would work and stop when I let it go. I rigged it to work with a tie strap, putting some pressure on the wire as a quick fix while on vacation but have plans to remove and repair the connections when I have a little time. You may have the same problem and it could save you a hundred bucks.

I have the same issue with my 2000 Yukon. I took apart the motor today and found that there was a lot of build up inside the motor. After cleaning the contact and putting back together, it is working. I will be replacing, as the motor is not reliable in this state. I will say it was easier to get to the motor then I expected. I will post again once I have replaced the unit.

Had a new compressor installed in May of this year. Made some weird loud noises occaisionally for 1st few days then was fine for about 2 months. Started leaking freon and making a whining noise and the compressor making noise again. re-charged couple times, and am now being told the rear a/c is out. will not re-charge at all now.....any advise!
