1997 tuneability

I have recently acquired a bone stock 97 2 door tahoe. I would like to remove the cats however in ny all obd2 vehicles have to be read by a computer to pass inspection. Once the truck throws a code it fails. So, can this hiccup be tuned out to pass inspection?

Is this 350 mass air?
How much power did a vortec 350 make back in 97?

I also have an 89 corvette. If that makes a difference lol. Thanks in advance!

Roughly 250hp, 315ft/lb of torque

Remove the cats and it will likely fail emissions, these trucks have sensors EVERYWHERE

Can the computer be tuned to "disregard" these sensors?

Yup, rear O2's codes can be deleted.....

96+ is MAF sensor equipped.
97 was rated for like 260
