The factory tint is, I believe, 20%. They just lay another layer of whatever tint you specify over the tint. So, if you were to have them put on a layer of 20%, your new effective tint would be 20% of 20%.

Thats about what its like in my RX-8. How well does your X50 work with the tint? I've got the same radar, and i've noticed its not near as effective now that my windshield is tinted.

Mine does that when i'm at full lock, but it sounds like what your experiencing may be your power steering pump on its last legs.

How many miles do you have on your Tahoe? Try cleaning the throttle body.

dang man i cant even tell your headlights are on! i've got 20% on my RX-8 and it has OEM HIDs, which i can still see, but it is a bit dark at night.

ill agree with that, IF you do it correctly by moving the bumpers up, gap guards, paint the frame, etc, a body lift can be ok on a street truck/light off road truck.

once again, i never said a LIFT is lame, i said a BODY lift is.

well, doesn't 20% mean only 20% of the light will pass through, thus decreasing your light output by 80%?

i didnt say a lift is lame - i just think body lifts are lame. if your going to lift a truck, do a real lift.
