The pink wire is your factory amp turn on. The reason it stays on is because the '03 and up use the front left speaker for key chime and door chime (stuff like that) use a switched ignition somewhere else. If you do use the pink wire, the amp will cutoff eventually but it will be a minute or so...

you have to get one for your specific year. it doesnt matter however which vehicle it comes from as long as it is a fullsize chevy truck.(silverado,tahoe,suburban,avalanche) the key is the year.

Hit the fold in button and listen to your driver mirror for grinding and other wrong noises. your gears are probally stripped, mabye just old and cracked. Also do a search for Power folding mirrors on fullsizechevy.com foums. alot more traffic there.

for clarification i didnt mean the LS tahoes i meant the LS series of motor. (LS1, LS2) basically most chevy V8's. I would try and take the spacer out and see what happens, you might have a air/ vacuum leak or something, is the check engine light on?

Take the TB Spacer out. well... atleast i have "heard" they dont do anything for the LS series engines. i have a k&n cai and flowmaster exhaust, no tune yet and i have noticed a huge torque increase. TB Spacer is all i can think of....

If you look at the bottom corner of the window it tells you the tint level. my rear side passenger windows(roll down) 20% the rear back windows the (non roll down) 18% and the back hatch is 13% just look at the window.....

Has anyone had any experience with tuning with EFI Live or heard anything? the forums online are pretty helpful, and in the long run it would be cheaper than a handheld tuner. i would even be able to buy extra liscenses and sell a tune for anyone interested. what do you think?

pull yours off and sand the hell out of them till their smooth, paint and enjoy, thats what i did, i have LS handles that are painted like LT.

local uphulstry shop says the good cheap way to do it is baby oil. greatly softens it up and your car smells like a babys a$$ for a few days. just let it soak in. this is what i use and it is by far the best thing i have tried so far.

I paid less than that for my truck. Want an OEM style finish... Sell it and buy another one. Black is definately the way to go!

I'm doing mine this week myself using du pont chroma system going from grey to jet black pearl:cool2: I've spent about 650 bucks so far on sandpaper paint clear and all the stuff. Planing to spray on Tuesday 1-8. Started teardown last thurs! Quick turnaround.. Lots of long hours
