Not sure if supercharger falls into the category of not-fancy or not-expensive :)
Maybe start with the breathing end of it. Cold air intake, then headers, hi flow cats and maybe 2.5 or 3" exhaust.
I'm wondering if anyone can explain from a technical standpoint what conditions must be met for the service 4wd light to come on.
I dont have the vehicle in 4wd.. both 2wd and 4wd indicator lights do not work, but its in 2wd.
I was on a 120 mile trip to the trailer and the light came on. I...
yeah I was a gallon and a half low on coolant. I got a leak in the radiator (and one of the oil cooler lines to boot.) Ill start collecting parts I guess.
Just not in the mood for this truck anymore.
Poor thing.
Thats an interesting point about the alternator. I have been paying such close attention to when this happens I try to notice everything about what Im doing, the weather, and what the vehicle is doing while this happens.
It almost always happens when Im coming off the throttle and only the...
Bringing back this old thread.
I had this exact thing happen to me this morning.
My temp gauge got up over 220 then went down, then went back up... then down. I got to work and parked it, the temp normalized at about 185 or so, then the heater started to work.
I know for a fact that I am low...
I have replaced the multi switch already.
The headlight switch on the dash seems to be functioning normally. Actuating that switch while the blinky-blink is happening changes nothing.
I checked the DRL module and it seems OK. The attached relay is clean and shows no signs of heating up/...
You guys know I have been struggling with an intermittent functionality with my hi beams for about 2 years now. I think I have replaced everything in the whole system except the DRL Module and the diode assembly under the dash.
It was so hard for me to explain to people exactly what made it...
On my friends Ford Edge, the tray under the windshield has weep holes. they were plugged with debris/ leaves etc. This caused the tray to fill and then leak up and over somehow finding its way into the cabin.
FWIW
Well, I was hoping to ask this in a new thread, but since this one is already going, I will just continue it here.
So, I'm getting intermittent functionality out of the hi-beams again. The day after replacing the switch, they magically started to work. By the time I drove around for a while...
Finally got this taken care of last night with the help of a good friend. The hardest part was unlatching the cruise control wire. The rest was just tedious taking stuff totally apart and laying on the floor to work under the dash.
I guess its been so long of the hi beams blinking on and off...
Ok I got the part in the mail today and it looks like a match. Then I thought I would just surf around and look for pointers... then I found this:

I'm wondering if it is this complex? What we had talked about didnt seem this involved...
Well, like the title states, I'm getting ready to replace the multi-switch on the D.
Has anyone done this already that could offer any tips or tricks etc?
Thanks in advance for your consideration,
Pete
Gents, I hope you can help me with the official name of the switch/switching items in my turn signal lever. My wipers work at odd intervals, operate by themselves at times... my turn signals blink fast and then slow at the next corner.. Sometimes when it really acts up , I swear I smell a...
yeah, everything else on the wand works. blinkers, cruise wipers etc. I suppose I gotta take that steering column cover out and have a look at whats in there.
