since IM getting rid of my XM....

There are some inconsistencies on that site -- I'd call the Dice support people and try to get a straight answer. Also, looks like the factory nav system is required. See this table.

Does that mean that the cops have at least 34.5 minutes to find him before he speeds away?

GMT900 Fog + High Beam mod, anyone?

No, that's not what I said -- re-read my post! Yeah, maybe I'll try the "kit". I'll call 'em Monday first to find out exactly what the kit is comprised of, just to make sure it's not the same stuff I've already got, but for a higher price... :rolleyes2:

GMT900 Fog + High Beam mod, anyone?

NEED MORE INPUT! Is DIY worth the headache on GMT900's for this mod?!?!? Well, I'd love to know if anyone here has successfully done this on their GMT900 Yukon using the DIY method. I spent the better part of the evening in the garage messing around with some 3A 400PIV diodes I picked up at...

    reduced engine power....

DTC codes are stored. Is the engine light on? Even if it's not, it may still be stored in the PCM, and a scanner should be able to pick it up. Have you been messing under the hood at all? Did you spray lots of water when you were cleaning it the last few days? Maybe got some gas somewhere...

washed and waxed the trucks today...

Clean the camera lens with something other than spit... ...or snot or whatever is on it, bro! On top of the list of suggestions for better pics would be to make sure the lens is CLEAN! You've likely got some smudges on the lens (oily fingerprints are most probable), which is one reason why...

GMT900 Fog + High Beam mod, anyone?

What exact type of diode again? Also, don't care about "lows" as they're one and the same bulb on the Yukon (H13, albeit different filaments on a stock non-HID setup)...just care about the fogs with the highs.

GMT900 Fog + High Beam mod, anyone?

Anyone successfully do the diode trick on their 2007+ Yukon? Details if so, please... Check this kit out (it's for a Yukon but they show a Hoe). Anyway, I was gonna order one unless there's an even cheaper / quicker "Radio Shack" method... RT, I've seen yer old threads for GMT800, but I'm...

WTF. who hates their XM now....

I'm with you guys -- quality is worse. Yeah RT, I don't blame you man. If my family didn't like the 40's, 50's, 60's and holiday music so much, and if I didn't like the talk stations as much, I'd have canceled a while back. I have noticed that the quality suffers now as well, even on the...

    Z71 HID fogs

I think that if you're careful, an 880 kit will work. Just mod the connectors as applicable, silicone them in like DwDrummer says, and that should keep the tip of the bulb far enough away from the back of the lens, and you'll be okay re: heat. Just make sure you use a 35W ballast (don't get...

880 hid kit for foglights in 07 & up

I'm familiar with heat issues... And I have none with my particular installation (35W 5000K 9005's, bulb bases modded to fit in un-modded OE stock housings, stock wiring modded to use 9005 connectors). Been in there almost a year, and no issues. Give it a shot, it's pretty easy to do, and the...

GMT900 Backup / Reverse Lights - LEDs or HID?

Thanks for the input, Scotto. I've pretty much decided to skip LEDs in there due to the lack of brightness. Maybe some day I'll do the HID mod, but money's tight now...so it's the stock incandescents for me.

    Reprograming tire pressure sensors

I wonder how long it took the dealer service tech? Yeah, there ought to be a way to skip the sensors that are already learned, and go to the one or two that are "wrong" / "unlearned" without having to totally re-do the whole procedure. How could something so seemingly simple and "quick"...

    Reprograming tire pressure sensors

Stupid retarded procedure. Actually, on my 2007 Yukon, it's page 494, and you have to press the and hold the DIC checkmark button instead of holding the remote buttons. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same. It took me over an hour to get through the procedure correctly without the stupid...

Small amount of water damage in my Tahoe:(

I don't suppose you have a small electric de-humidifier? I'd plug it in and sit it right in the drivers seat and run it overnight with the doors shut. Buddy has done that before and claimed it worked. Nothing worse than a truck with stank.

    Aircraft landing lights????

Jeez, I thought I had "illumination issues". RT, just add some wings to the Kon, and be done with it! :smilielol::smilielol::smilielol: When you get those aircraft lights, maybe you can just get an FAA waiver when you want to drive somewhere... Holy freak!!! :smilielol::smilielol::smilielol:
