I use the Bosch platinum 4 plugs. They seem to work good. I have always liked running Bosch on my sbc they seem to take well. I've had NGK they are good but I prefer Bosch over NGK. Plus they come ready to install (with a little anti-seize).
ohh I also forgot will the 2006 and up e-fans from say a silverado sierra etc fit the stock yukon radiator? My whole issue is I want little modification but if those e-fans work without modifying the shroud or cutting anything(except splicing wires) I rather go that way. Anyone have any idea if...
ok I will try it out, do you have any suggestions for wiring? I am familiar with basic wiring and have a good sodering iron and heat shrink tubing but I have no idea how to wire this up. What would I need? I just want this to turn on when my a/c turns on. I am unsure where I need to tap into to...
Yeah I didnt think it was a direct fit. According to autozone(where I found the e-fan) they claim it fits my vehicle. If the case is that it doesnt fit i rather pull one from a junk yard complete with harness relays etc.
cut out the cats they just restrict airflow and sell them. I did that and man what a difference. I didnt sell them becasue they seemed pretty clear and since I live in CA you know how they are here.
ok so you can kit the brackets at theseatshop.com also watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAa0z_5V3bs this youtube video for example. I would suggest running with the 96-99 suburban seat the reason is they will match your interior better. I would also suggest going to your local junkyard and...
yeah I do know what it was but today it seemed like the a/c was cold. What I did was I turned it on and brought the yukon up to 2k rpm's and it was cold after that the entire time. When I got the service they cleaned up the condenser. You mentioned the cabin air filter this might sound dumb, but...
has anyone ever installed this fan? Dorman part #621-300. It's supposed to fit the yukon. The picture has like a plug but will this plug into my yukon wiring? Any feedback would be great. I just had my a/c serviced but I dont feel it that cold. For the record my system was checked for leaks and...
yeah start with the filter first, then move onto the pump these yukon/tahoe's are known for fuel pump failures after so many miles. Also if this doesnt fix the problem it might be your fuel pressure regulator this happend to a buddy of mine he thought it was the pump he changed it and nothing...
