    Cycled the motor again... same thing... warms up to 170 degrees or so and then pegs the needle. -ACM

    During a normal warm-up, my Temp Gauge jumps right up to pegged when it passes an indicated 168 degrees. She just shoots off the chart way above 260 and stays there. Funny thing is... it doesn't seem hot. Seen it hot before too... my wife drives this one. This is a '98 LS (192,000+ miles)...

    well thank you now for confirming my suspicions... does anyone know where to get a good tool for the "quick connect" fuel lines? i understand the best way is to cut the lines on the pump side to get the tank down, then it makes for an easier extraction, if you have the tool, that is.
