I just bought a 2002 z71 Tahoe and love it! I am looking to install a touchscreen head unit and am wondering what size, brand, and specs I should look for when purchasing it.

I have a 2000 Tahoe 5.3 . Every once in a while my check engine light will flash and then stay on. The latest code is P0300 Random misfire. The truck continues to run fine. There are no idle issues, gas mileage issues. It runs as it normally does. If I add a fuel additive, such as SeaFoam, or run premium gasoline, the light will shortly after go off. One more thing, while the light is on and I go down a hill and am coasting, the light will start flashing and stop flashing when I am back on the gas.
Does anyone know what this might be

Hi, I saw a very old thread that you had commented on that you knew how to install and reprogram a new BCM...could you give me some tips? My service airbag light is on and the dealership told me it was probably the SCM, yes "S"CM...I wasn't able to find a SCM so I'm thinking that it is part of the BCM so I would like to try to install a new one myself. I have a 04 LT Tahoe that is all wheel drive. Is there a way to make it like a z71 tahoe where it is 2wd, 4wd high, and 4wd low?

Have owned 3 Z71s, 2006 best model. Will the 2014 replace the plastic covered bumbers with metal bumpers like the 2013 trucks. If not I will be forced to Ford 150.

I have a 2002 Cey Tahoe 5.3 liter 4wd flex motor. Service Engine light on Po codes 171 & 174. Changed MAF sensor,Air Filter, Spark PLugs and Wires, BP gasoline anda bottle of heat. Still acts like it wants to shut off when idle, orwaiting ata light. If i hit itit takesoff like light but runs rough when I am sitting still. Can anyone help me out?

hello everyone, I'm to this forum so bear with me... Planning on taking a trip across America in my 02 Tahoe, so I decided to have my training drain and fresh oil put in, car drove fine for a week and now its back at the shop, which is BS, I am so p---ed, because I luv my 02 Tahoe and I take very good care of it, does anyone have any answers or advice.....

guys gonna charge me 1,100 $ for removing many new dents >:\ and all new light pewter metallic on the body and chrome bumper and chrome grill (trying to get a z71 look)... and the B pillars in the rear.

Hey all, I was wondering if it's worth doing a tranny fluid and filter change on my 09 Z71 myself, or leave it to the dealer? I've heard some horror stories...Also, is it possible to put an auxilliary tranny cooler on my truck...I'll be towing a 7500lb trailer in the summer?

I have a 98 Tahoe LS and the driver's seat 2 plastic (slides?) that allow the power seat to go back and forward on the rails. Both of mine are cracked and allow the seat move up and down. Called chevy supplier and these are no longer available, Any way to replace or repair?

I am getting ready to replace the brake pads on my '08 Tahoe. Got about 70,000 miles out of the original set. From what I have read, looks like ceramic is the best way to go. Performance and durability are important to me. Any recommendations?
