My wife and i purchased our 2007 tahoe brand new and she loved it from the begining. This thing has been giving me the biggest fits. We went on vacation and on the way home it started popping through the carburetor and losing power. I pulled over and tried to let it set (this happened to my wife before) Last time i had to replace the throttle body. This time i tried to get home with it and after stomping it to the floor it lurched and then took off. I made it almost home and got the good ole message check the stabilitrak and check traction control. Then it slowed to a crawl and died. I got a ride home and got my scanner to see if it had any codes set. The only codes set were the code for the high voltage at the oil sensor( which i knew the sensor went bad on vacation) and The evap leak from a faulty purge valve. NO other codes. i tried to start the tahoe and when i released the key it kept turning over without starting. I tried to clear the codes to see it it would start but this didnt help either. I turned it over and hit the accellerator and it started i kicked the key back to off and then back to on and it ran without eating a ring gear or bendix. while it was running i cleared the codes again and it drove fine all the way home. At home i shut it off and it starts and runs fine. This thing has got me baffled it should of set a code.

Honestly it sounds to me like body control module needs replaced. This could be causing issues with the ECM as well making it throw odd codes, etc.
