I have a 98 Tahoe that won't start. The motor turns over but doesn't show any sign of wanting to start. The auto store thinks that it could be a control module, not getting spark to spark plugs. I replaced the fuel pump a year ago and can hear it come on when I turn the ignition on. I also checked all the fuses related to the fuel and ignition and all were good. Any thoughts that mite help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

ended up being timing chain, replaced runs good now

You got lucky. Was it completely broken? If it was then you where lucky. it had to have broken idling or at very low speed. Going 55 or 65 mph would have caused damaged. You might have had to get a new engine or had a permanent knock in your engine.
