From time to time, my washer motor does not come on. I have unplugged the wires at the motor and given it 12V directly and it comes on. Also, the windshield wipers tend to have a mind of their own at times, especially when I use the "mist" feature. They will turn on and run for 15-20 cycles, and often stop in the middle of their cycle. Multi function switch issues?

Well just did some more research and it usually is inside the module. Gonna pull it and have a look when I get a chance. Never thought about the washer motor getting power from inside the control module.....

Could be circuit board, solder all the pins on the connector that you unplugged the harness from. Just a possibility, but have had it happen several times.... could also be a bad multifunction switch too.....
