Windshield Wiper Problem

Hi Everyone and thanks in advance for your help. I have a 2000 Tahoe LS. My windshield wipers will not go to the full downward rest position when turned off. When turned full off, they go to the position where they would go when using delay.....(approx 1" above where they normally go when full off). Any help for a fix would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe there is. When using variable wiper settings, the wipers don't go all the way down. When turned off, the wipers go down about an inch further.

I used to have a 2000 Tahoe and the seller replaced the multiswitch to fix the problem with the wiper stopping when I turned it off no matter where the wipers were instead of returning to the bottom of the windshield.
