My 99 Yukon has a wierd stalling problem, sometimes when i start it up cold, when I go to put it in drive it will stall after a few feet, but not enough to shut the car off like the whole dash flickers and the rpms drop then come back up. It has also happened sometimes when im driving and go to put my headlights on, otherwise it doesnt happen at all. Anyone have a problem like this?

sounds like an electrical problem, posible bad battery, bad ground(s), bad alternator. check all battery and alternator connections, check alternator output, and check all battery cells. check fuse panel main positive wire. good luck.

stalling problem....

Check for any loose metal parts around the battery posts, alternator, solenoid, or other electrical parts..... I had this problem before on my Bronco.... it turned out that the lug nut bar, the one that looks like an L shape to take off the lug nuts, was touching the battery post to the fender!!!! Make sure nothing out of the ordinary are touching any electrical terminals....
