Hey everyone,
New to the forum and already have found some great info. I do have a question that I couldn't find the answer to though. Usually when I start the truck, I can hear a noise that sounds like a small air compressor from under the rear end behind the wheels. Any thoughts or ideas? I just bought the truck and it does not have an owners manual. Also have a tire pressure sensor warning on the display. Are they related and is there an easy way to make this go away. Oh, I have a 2006 yukon denali. I love it so far. Thanks for any help I can get.

My guess is that you are probably hearing the fuel pump, at the rear of the vehicle?
No, it's not related to the tire pressure light being on.

Not sure on the Denali, but on most late model GM's, when you turn the key "ON" you"ll hear the fuel pump pressure up for about 2 seconds, then it shuts off until you start the engine.

Thanks for the info

I don't believe it is the fuel pump. The noise starts after the truck is started and only runs for about a minute or so. It is way louder than a fuel pump noise. Probably air ride. I am not sure if my truck has it or if it comes standard. Thanks for the info. I will do more research.
