Wierd humming sound

I have an 03 tahoe with 160 on it. The rear end has a humming and a whirlwind sound coming from rear end. It starts up around 25 mph and when im coasting and tap on the gas it get louder. Think its the wheel bearing or u joint but would rather get an opinion before i tackle this thanks.

Hey dude!

Mine is doing the same thing! 2001 170k miles. BUT it's the front end...sounds like a tire hum but it's not...sounds like differential losing fluid...I had a 4Runner do that years ago.
I wish you the best of luck!! I'm taking mine to Sears for a free inspection of wheel bearings etc
